Ingredients
Red layer
- 1 ounce strawberry purée (fresh or store-bought)
- 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
White layer
- 1 ounce silver rum for less sweetness
- 1 ounce coconut water
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
Blue layer
- 1/2 ounce blue curaçao
- 2 ounce lemon-lime soda or sparkling water
Instructions
- Prepare a tall clear glass (Collins or hurricane works best).
- Optional: Rim the glass with lime and dip in white sugar for sparkle.
- Red Layer: Add the strawberry purée, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Fill the glass ⅓ with crushed ice.
- White Layer: Slowly pour the coconut rum and coconut water mix over the back of a spoon to gently layer on top. Add more crushed ice to bring it up to ⅔ full.
- Blue Layer: Mix the blue curaçao and lemon-lime soda, then carefully float it over the spoon on top of the white layer.
- Garnish: Top with the red-white-blue fruit skewer.
