22 year old Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) is the bass player in the unsuccessful Indi band Sex Bomb-Omb, and dating 17 year-old Knives Chau (Ellen Wong).

His world turns upside down when he meets the enigmatic Ramona Flowers and must defeat her seven evil exes to win her heart. This premise sets the stage for a series of visually spectacular battles that are as much about personal growth as they are about sheer entertainment.
