The Bulletproof Love Cocktail (Inspired by "The Gorge")
A dark and smoky and deceptively strong cocktail that is complex.
Equipment
- Mixing glass
- Strainer
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Mezcal for that smoky edge
- 1/2 ounce Cherry Liqueur a dark, bittersweet twist
- 1/2 ounce Sweet Vermouth for complexity
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Luxardo Cherry & torched orange peel garnish
- ice and one large ice cube
Instructions
- Add mescal, cherry liqueur, sweet vermouth, and bitters to a mixing glass with ice
- Stir until well chilled
- Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube
- Torch an orange peel over the drink and drop in
- Garnish with a Luxardo cherry
